Today, we're thrilled to introduce Tessa and Dennis, the dynamic duo behind Dstnct Art Media.
Dennis is an award-winning photographer with 7 years of experience. His mission is to challenge negative self-image, boost confidence, and help those he works with pursue their dreams through powerful imagery. He firmly believes that an incredible photoshoot experience can be life-changing for everyone.
Tessa, a firm believer in taking risks, spent five years as an indoor skydiving coach before meeting with Dennis. Through exhilarating and fun, what she enjoyed most about the job was pushing people to do something they never thought possible. The most rewarding moments were when she could comfort someone in a moment of panic and help them find the confidence to fly.
When she began working with Dennis, she realised she could find that same joy in teaching their models. She educated herself by learning from the best, attending Coco Rocha’s model Camp in 2023. The most rewarding moments for Tessa are getting to work with their clients before, during, and after their shoots and helping them to be a bolder, more confident version of themselves.
Tune in, relax, and discover how you can unlock the distinct art of life with us!
Love,Ivana & Yaw

Haydn Griffiths was injecting drugs by the age of 14. He felt he was worthless and couldn't be loved. By 16, he saw his future as either death or jail. Then one day, his stepmother came into the bathroom crying, saying, "I don't know why you do this to yourself, you've always been a good boy." That was enough for him to question his own beliefs and change the trajectory of his life. He began to see that his thoughts caused all of his experiences and behaviors. It was no quick fix or easy change, but he managed to become someone of immense value in society.
Today, he coaches business leaders who want to release their full potential. His clients experience jaw-dropping results in a fraction of the time they think possible. Haydn is discovering what actually causes people to be the way they are, and he coaches them to create a mindset that matches their vision. He is also a father of two beautiful children and is married to an international, award-winning gymnastics coach. They travel the world pursuing their dreams while guiding others to do the same.
We are happy Haydn accepted our invitation to be our guest and talk to us about his work and his story. Don't miss this compelling conversation that promises to shift your mindset and unlock new potentials.

Welcome back! Today we are speaking to Florence Ọlájídé.
Florence, a Nigerian born in Britain, was privately fostered by a white family before being taken to Nigeria by her parents
Florence's story is a powerful narrative of overcoming loss, loneliness, poverty, maltreatment, and fighting for education. It’s a moving, uplifting and incredibly inspiring story of finding resilience, courage, and true voice even through loss and identity.
Florence’s memoir, Coconut, has received rave reviews and was also featured on the Graham Norton Bookclub. Her second book, the Stolen Daughter, is a historical fiction novel that was inspired after discovering a family secret of one of her ancestors being forced into slavery.
Florence was shortlisted to attend Penguin Random House’s WriteNow London workshop in 2018.

Today, we are excited to have Adeyemi Oke, author of 'I don't mean to sound racist, but...' on the show.
Following the 2018 Premier League football race storm, there was a rhetoric that racism had ended in the eighties, and was now ‘rearing its ugly head’. After having many conversations in focus groups, online, and with friends explaining that racism never went away, Adeyemi decided to take action. As the saying goes, ‘Be the change you want to see’.
Join us for this candid, thought-provoking, and (as always ;) ) humor-filled conversation as we explore the complexities of racism in modern society.
If you enjoy the episode, it would mean the WORLD to us if you could leave an honest review.
Thanks so much!
